Getting started
Up and running in under a minute.

Three steps. No account, no install, no integration.

Step 1
Create a pad
Click the button below. You get a unique URL and a write key instantly. The write key is a passphrase like jade-cloud-point-metro-42 that lets you and your AI agent edit the pad. Save it — if you lose it, you can still read the pad but can't edit. It can't be recovered.
Step 2
Write your context
Write whatever your AI needs to know — your project brief, decisions made, open questions, preferences. Markdown is supported. This becomes the shared memory your AI reads at the start of every session.

Think of it as a living brief. Not a message. Not a prompt. A document both you and your AI maintain over time.
Step 3
Connect your AI
Open the Share panel in your pad. You'll see two sections — pick the one that matches your AI.
AI Agents — read + write
Copy setup instructions
Click "Copy setup instructions" in the Share panel. Paste into your agent's custom instructions or config. Your agent reads the pad at the start of every session and writes back — decisions, summaries, open questions. Set it once.

AI Chat Assistants — read only
Copy the read URL
Click "Copy" in the Share panel. Paste the URL into any conversation. Your AI fetches the current pad contents. Paste it again whenever you want your AI to re-read.
Grok · Perplexity · Gemini · Meta AI · Claude
Common questions
What should I write in my pad?
Anything your AI needs to know. Project scope, decisions, preferences, status updates, open questions. Write it like a brief for a smart colleague who's joining the project for the first time.
Does my AI read the pad automatically?
AI Agents (Claude Code, Codex, Manus) — yes. Once you paste the setup instructions, they read the pad at the start of every session automatically.

AI Chat Assistants (Grok, Perplexity, Gemini, Meta AI) — you paste the read URL into each new conversation. They fetch the current contents at that moment.
What if I lose my write key?
You can still read your pad — the content is safe. But you won't be able to edit it. There's no recovery mechanism. Use the "Email to yourself" option in the Share panel right after creating the pad.
Can my AI overwrite what I wrote?
Agent writes append by default — they add to the pad, never replace. If content does get overwritten, click "Undo" in the status bar or use version history to restore.
What about ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can't reliably fetch URLs from newer domains. For now, copy your pad content and paste it directly into the conversation. We're exploring a Custom GPT for native access.
How many pads should I have?
One per project or context. A website redesign gets one pad. Your writing voice gets another. They're free — create as many as you need.
Ready?
No account. No setup wizard. Just a URL.
